Let’s give this a whirl!
Am trying this at the suggestion of a few folks.
1. 95% of the pics that will be posted are moi! Yep, am doing this for my entertainment. So there will be the good, the bad and the ugly. (Lots of ugly). If others enjoy it, it will make me happy! But these are my pics, posted on, to be viewed by members. So please don’t steal them and post some other place. If I wanted them posted someplace else, I would do it.
2. Any other pics that get posted will be given credit. I only post pics that are found free and available to download from the World Wide Web.
3. Comments are encouraged. Good, bad, indifferent. Go for it!

This will evolve with more info as needed or suggested.

Howdy howdy! Having a good weekend? Good! I put off mowing, weeding and vine trimming today. Was feeling lazy. So, I wind up goin to the store with wifey. Game changer for the day.
So, I guess I’m cooking. Kabobs! You will never hear me say “how about we grill kabobs!” But she asked nicely. So I said “fine. I’ll make kabobs”.
Jumbo shrimp, uncooked, peeled and deveined. Sometimes I get precooked. It all depends on how cooked you want your veggies. Mix colors of bell peppers and sometimes a purple onion. Good flavor and more color. I thought we had cherry tomatoes at home but we didn’t 😕. Thought we had purple onion. But we didn’t. 😕. And also use whatever was left from the pineapple you had sex with. 😃. Chop to desired size, 3/4” to 1” works well, and skewer.
I use the steel skewers. You can use bamboo, but soak them in water first. Keeps them from splintering and delays the inevitable fire.
Side dishes are guacamole and I made salsa. Salsa is easy using rotel or just diced tomatoes with green Chili’s, add a jalapeño, 1/4 white onion, course ground pepper then blend. Season to taste with more pepper, salt, garlic and/or other seasonings.
Oh! Jalapeños, stuffed with shrimp & cream cheese, wrapped in……yes!…bacon!! 🌶 🍤 🥓
Core the 🌶 and then halve them. I put cream cheese on one half. Take a 🍤 and cut almost in half in the middle of the curl. It will help it lay straight in the pepper. Make a little 🌶🍤🌶 sandwich and wrap with 🥓. Bake at 400 until 🥓 is done. 350 takes longer, but you have more time for other things in between 😈.
Steaks! These are Del Monico. They are great. Fork a few times. Spritz with Worcestershire and fork some more. It not only adds flavor but is a good tenderizer. Season with your choice. Today I used HEB steak seasoning. Test run. Wasn’t bad. Still a McCormicks fan.
Preheat grill. 400 to 425 and you are ready!!
I lightly basted the kabobs with a teriyaki glaze. It adds a sweeter teriyaki taste that goes well with the pineapple and shrimp. Sometimes I use a Hawaiian baste. Lawrys has a good one.
5 to 7 minutes and flip kabobs, rotate steaks. Rebaste kabobs. Go check your 🥓🌶🍤.
Flip steaks and start getting ready to bring it all in. Things went kinda fast here. My grill caught fire. You can see kinda see after it dies a little. Sheesh. I should’ve cleaned it. Kabob handles got a little charred. It was exciting with the 2’ flames. Another reason not to cook naked too.
This is all going fast, but I gotta go walk the family pet and get my lazy butt on a mower while it’s still cool! Questions or comments are welcome!!

So one time, a girlfriend and I were out on a date. We want to a local country night club.
Me and my old boots and jeans, her in sandals and some cowboy killer denim shorts. Whew. She was a hottie. Anyway, we danced some and shot some pool and had a beer or two. We were under age, so we would dance, get thirsty and ease out to the parking lot and hit my cooler. Drink one and then go back in and hit the dance floor. About midnight, my buckle was shiny. 😜 We had slow danced, cottoneye joe’d and two stepped ourselves to death. And then, there was the line dancing. I do a little, but it’s mostly a girl thing. Nothing derogatory, but they seem to have more fun with it. So I watch. And when you watch a floor full of girls in cut-offs, tight jeans or flouncy skirts do a hoppin line dance, it’s exciting to me. 😂 I’m a perv. Sue me. So, now we were hot and sweaty and in the mood for different kind of fun. We left and went outside of town. A hot august night with a full moon, a cooler full of beer, a hottie riding shotgun, what else could you ask for. We found a nice dirt road far from the city lights and parked. I dropped the tailgate and we grabbed a cold one to share. We talked and kissed and giggled and kissed and laughed and talked an entire morning about how please call l then kissed! Awesome.
Jump ahead a little- we get pretty amorous and hop off the tail gate. Her shirt is on the dirt, mines on the antenna and I am dropping her cutoffs like a hot potato. Woohoo! No panties!!
I drop my jeans around my boots and we are about get busy. Oh yeah baby. This cowboy is ready to ride! She squeals. Easy babe, it gets better. Another squeal. I’m not in yet, she knows it will be good. Shit. I squeal. Wtf?? My legs are on fire. She’s line dancing and squealing. I’m line dancing and squealing while my legs are on fire!! Damn!! I get a good look in the full moon light and I’m being swarmed by red ants! She’s swiping at her legs and is in the pickup bed, still squealing. My jeans are covered. I’m trying to take them off. Dumbass, they ain’t going over those boots. So now I’m line dancing, lil one legged hop to get one boot off. She’s laughing. I’m onto the other boot. Shuckin an jivin. Like my hair was on fire and my ass was a-catchin!!! Except reverse. The little bastards were getting higher and urgency had set in. I kick off the boot, shuck the wranglers and start swiping. I get into the bed with her. She’s good and laughing. I’m laughing a bit too. Embarrassed. I manage to get into the cab, back the truck up and hit the high beams on one of the biggest red ant beds I’ve ever seen. An eight foot diameter circle of pissed of ants. And my boot right in the middle. Sheesh. So we split another beer and waited for them to calm down. Had some fun in the bed too! Anyway, carefully retrieved my boot and my jeans afterwards. Went to a different locale and watch the sun come up while sharing another cold one. Then IHOP!!!
Anyway, here’s some more pics. Got ready to head to ride and some Maltese are fun. Didn’t work out, so we stayed on the patio and rodeo’d the rest of the day. 😜 nothin dirty. The batteries died in the camera.

I don’t have a topic.
Am out having coffee this morning. It’s cool, about 64. That definitely signals fall is the way. Had grab a robe. 😕
I like summer. Youngest is in school and Labor Day has passed. So now it does feel like summer is over. I feel the down feeling I felt when I was a . Will try and mow this weekend. Will probably be the last time. So no more fresh cut grass smell enjoy while the patio. Will clean the pool too. Relaxing afternoons will soon be gone along with weekend skinny dipping. Brrrr.
But I guess that’s ok.
Hunting season is firing . Hopefully restock a dwindling fridge. Some nights will be spent around the outdoor fire pit. Maybe with some of Mrs. Ponies shine recipe.
I got some boots on sale in the spring. So they get to come out. Ahh black suede beauties.
Will try to be more upbeat later. 😆
So, still clearing the cache and came across these. Just general goofing around. Will do better next time.

Thought we might change it just a bit.
a whim, we decided just scatter zinnia seeds in one of the small gardens. I thought they came out excellent! It was a lot more color than I anticipated.

Sometimes it’s a zen thing

Sometimes you just do things to make others happy. Sometimes you do things to make you happy. Either way, if everyone is happy, then all is good.
The foil swan. It’s never the same. It will always be different like a snowflake. For some reason, people like to see the swan go to the grill. Others enjoy opening the swan. Which can be rather violent sometimes. It’s just fun to make. If you use small batches of veggies, go for something else. Goose. I did a squirrel once. It’s fun, it’s relaxing too, believe it or not.

So, still in the way back machine. I came across these when I found the “blonde” pics. This was in the same time frame, 2007 or 2008. Wifey helped with this. (I needed her yoga mat) It started with a commenter saying I might look good bouncing on a huge “insert organ description here”.
Not saying what part, but this became a “I dare you” scenario in some parts. With the kiddos gone for the weekend and a full supply of alcoholic beverages- I did dare. This was still in the area of “you look good. What do we do now?” Anyway, getting these cleared off computer as we clean through.

They don’t have more fun.

So, as I said, there’s the good, the bad and the ugly.
I joined the site back around 2007. So this is from then. Was told by a commenter that I should try blonde. So wifey and I had a nice pool day to ourselves and I thought, ok, here goes. Long story short, I didn’t care for it. Neither did she. 😕
I thought I would toss these in to keep the ball rolling and to help maintain summer just a little longer.
I don’t have a recipe ready because we’ve been super busy the last few days. Whew.

We called this set “Inventory Specialist”. Maybe we could come with a better also. 😁

More than just chicken

So, if you read the post for quesadillas, this is a where we talk variations.
Some folks don’t do the tortillas for diet reasons. So obviously you can make a bowl with some salad or other items, sprinkle some cheese and some pico and enjoy.
This can also be a great intro to fajitas. Slice the chicken instead of cubing and make a fajita. I’ve used presliced before. On the grill or in a skillet it seems to dry out. So I like to cook the whole breast and then slice. Veggies can be sliced up and put in foil on the grill. A little butter or oil and you get a nice flavor. Or do them in a skillet where you can get a little crisp on the edges.
Another variation I have done is my southwest chicken special. When grilling the breast, as soon as you flip, put on some Monterey Jack cheese. Top that with some bacon and then top that with some thin sliced avocado.
Or top the chicken with grilled green chilies, then top with cheese, bacon and whatever else your hungry little heart desires.
Sides can be anything from mashed potatoes, refried beans and salads.
I don’t have any good pictures of these dishes, but will soon.

But…..I have these. I stepped out of the way back machine and thought we might do something within the last few months instead of the last few years. Keep your eyes open along the highway! See ya soon!!

Tastes like chicken

There’s a few that seem to think I’m kidding. 😜 Let’s do this!! Come on. It’ll be fun! Right? 😘
If you use wood or charcoal for grilling, start it now. If you use gas, wait. Get a beer.
Pico de gallo!
1 jalapeño, 1/2 white onion, 1 Roma tomato! I use Roma for the elongated shape. Easier slicing and are sometimes less $$.
Dice onion and tomato into 1/4 to 3/8” size. Dice jalapeño into 1/8” pieces. Toss in a bowl and ….um …toss. Yeah. Tada!
Chicken quesadillas
I use McCormicks mesquite. It’s simple. Fondle your breasts.
Ok. Now butterfly the breasts. Don’t worry if it’s uneven. Lay out on a foil covered pan and season to your liking. Now go heat up the gas grill. Grill needs to be 400 to 425. Grab another beer while your out there. 😎
Get some butter and a brush. I like a cheese slicer for my butter items.
Flip your 🐓 and season other side. Get ready to head to grill.
Lay out 🐓. Place butter someplace to melt. Not boil or burn.
Rotate 🐓 after about 4 minutes. Flip 🐓 after another 4.
When 🐓 starts turning white around edges, it’s time to flip!
About 5 to 7 minutes now. You can do this!! Don’t be afraid to check the chicken! It should be moist and white. Cut into it if you want to make sure. NO pink! 🤢
When satisfied, take off grill and head in. Less flies inside.
8 or 10” tortilla. Your choice. I use a 10” paper plate. Lay out tortilla and cover with cheese. I use rustic cut Mexican blend.
Dice up 🐓 into 3/8” to 1/2” cubes. Almost 1 breast per person.
Spread on top of cheese. Later more cheese over 🐓. Top with tortilla! Yay!
Let’s head outside, shall we? That’s where the grill is anyway. 😜
Lightly brush butter on tortilla. Sprinkle a little season salt. Ready?!?! Ok!!!
Flip the paper plate over and the quesadilla goes plop!! Perfect!! Keep the plate.
Lightly brush and season other side. 3 to 4 minutes and rotate! Another 3 and you can flip!
Tortilla should be lightly browned and crispy. Not burnt or floppy. 🥺
When satisfied, remove from grill and place on paper plate. Back inside! Come on!
I use a nice pizza cutter. Quarter or eighths. Whatever your little ❤️ desires.
Top with pico and whatever else you want. Still have some 🥑? That’s yummy too!
Flour tortillas, banana, chocolate syrup, raspberry syrup or preserves, butter and sugar! 💋
Spread butter on tortilla. Sprinkle with sugar 💋. Spread on raspberry stuff. Place banana. Drizzle chocolate syrup over it all!! Yum yum yum! Wrap! Grill it!!! Eat it!!!

Hello Sunday morning!
Not quite divorced yet. 😂 😂
Soft fried potatoes on the grill.
She says I use too many dishes when I cook. This is not so. I use the bare minimum.
I lay out my heavy duty foil, rinse my russet potatoes and get my chef knife honed.
I usually quarter the 🥔 length ways. Then quarter those slices. This usually gives you 1/2” to 3/4” cubes. 4 people = 5 🥔. I pile the 🥔 into the foil. I head out to start the grill. I come back in and my cutting board and knife are gone. What the heck?? She put them in the dishwasher. And started it. I wasn’t done. She says just trying to help keep it tidy so I have room to cook.
I could’ve washed in sink in less than 5 minutes. It’s 🥔. So I get out another cutting board and knife. One large yellow onion. Slice/dice into 1/2” pieces. Spread over 🥔. I go get a beer from patio. Come back in and cutting board and knife are in the sink soaking in dishwater. Damn. She’s quick. Wash/dry items and resume. I like to add jalepenos. Dice one up in a bout 1/8” pieces. Sprinkle over onions. Go check grill, come back, utensils are back in sink. 😠. I use the parkay squeeze butter. It’s easy. If you use real butter, use a wire cheese slicer to slice perfect size pats of butter to layer over 🥔.
Seasoning- keep it simple. McCormicks makes Garden Vegetable. Is awesome sprinkle liberally over 🥔. There is also Roasted Garlic & Herb. A few dashes are perfect. Or you can use coarse ground black pepper, season salt ( or sea salt) and garlic salt. A lot of people just dust the top. But there are 🥔 underneath that need seasoning too. Don’t be stingy.
Wrap the foil up nice and tight. If the piece is long enough, make a swan head and tail for fun. Toss on grill at about 400 for 20 to 30 minutes. Rotate occasionally. Squeeze package to check. If it’s soft/squishy then it’s done. You’ll need another cutting board, because she did something with the one you had out. Potatoes will sit here when done and ready to serve. You’ll need a large spoon, because the one you had out earlier is in the dishwasher. Even tho it hadn’t been used yet. This is also when you’ll find out that you’re out of paper towels/napkins. Carefully open the foil, it will be hot & steamy. Let people serve themselves.
You can top with cheese, bacon bits if you want. Some folks add a little ranch dresssing. All this makes it like a baked 🥔. If you set these items out too early, you will have to get them back out. She will have put them back in fridge while you were retrieving 🥔 from the grill.

Anyway, another night way back when in the garage. It was drizzly outside. So we moved inside. Little black outfit from local boutique. Shoes are Jante from Snaz75.
